The cubist looking cast stone figure was first a hand molded clay figure. From this, a silicone mold was formed with a matching plaster support mold to go with it. This made it possible to make a stone cast of the original mold. The cast stone figure was then concreted directly onto the limestone quarry stone. The matching stone was selected by the "Chalchi" team (KFN) and precisely placed at the desired location. So that now stone and figure form a new unit and are in dialogue with their surroundings.

The digital figure

A digital 3D model was prepared from 180 photographs of the cast stone figure. In order to be able to play the resulting digital 3D model on various devices (LAP tops, tablets, etc.), it had to be "simplified" again by hand. For this purpose, the required surfaces were reduced to a 10% share of the information. The calculation of a "simplification" of such a shape is complex, so it needed again the human eye for a good imitation of the original shape. In this case, the eyes of C. Weiss of palindrom.ch.

For the display in the web browser (incl. AR) the model-viewer was used.
