The story of this piece of art

From idea to creation

The object was brought to life by first with a concept sketch made for the planned "redux" exhibition in the Glarus art museum which then lead to an actual creation that is now in the outdoor space at "Chalchi" and online to discover.

The focus of the development process was on the question of finding the form in these different media. During the process, the observation of how different materials change the effect and character of the figure was central. In doing so, the work poses the question: how does a piece of art communicate with it's environment, the viewers, with it's location, and the space of social media.

It is exciting to see whom and what has contributed the implementation of this artistic work. If an idea is implemented in reality, there are always unexpected co-creators that come along. 

Sometimes reality imitates the idea. Manchmal ahmt die Realität die Idee nach / 2021.
